(02)The diagnosis
What sinks a good project.
-
Every piece made by a different person.
The ad came from one freelancer, the page from another, the slides you built the night before. Each of them got their part right, and together it does not look like the same company. People arrive from the ad, do not recognise the page, and leave before the price.
-
The offer is strong and the packaging does not back the number.
The product is worth what you are charging. But the page, the ad and the slide say otherwise, and buyers use what they see to decide whether to believe what you ask.
-
Everything finished the night before.
It ships tomorrow and the piece does not exist yet. That is where the patch job comes from, and it goes out exactly when the most people are watching.
Strangers decide in 5 seconds whether they trust you. Those 5 seconds happen in the ad, on the page and in the presentation, and it is the same brand that has to win all three.
(03)About
Osmar Junior.
I'm Osmar Junior. I build brands with clear positioning and design the place where they sell: from strategy to the interface that closes the deal.
CEO of Afinco Criativa and Head of Design at Instituto FD and on Ângela Sirino's team. In practice that means I don't hand over files and disappear: I follow the campaign, the launch and the numbers, and I see what a brand does once it's out in the world. Few designers get that feedback loop.
That's where my way of working comes from. I start with business questions, not a moodboard: first I find out what's blocking the sale, then I decide colour, type and form. In that order, always.
(04)How I work
A method in four steps.
Each step starts only once the previous one has a decision made and written down. That is what separates a project that ends from a project redone six months later.
-
Diagnosis
Understand before designing. Your business, your audience, your competitors and how your brand is read today. Half of what arrives as 'I need a new logo' is not a logo problem.
- Immersion with your team
- Competitive analysis
- Audit of the current brand
-
Positioning
Positioning is deciding why anyone should pay more for you. Without that decision made, identity becomes decoration: pretty, replaceable and with no argument behind it.
- Value proposition
- Competitive edge
- Verbal territory and tone of voice
-
Identity
The whole visual system, not just the logo. Mark, type, colour, grid and usage rules, documented so your team can work without calling me for every post.
- Mark and symbol
- Visual system
- Brand usage guide
-
Application
A brand that stays in a PDF sells nothing. It goes to the website, the sales page, the ad and the feed, with the same force in all four.
- Website and landing pages
- Campaign creative
- System for social media
(05)What you get
Everything the project asks for.
-
Visual identity
The brand that holds up your price.
Mark, symbol, palette and type in a system that works in a 1080-pixel ad and on a projected slide. It's what makes the project look like a company rather than someone testing an idea.
-
Website and sales page
The page that takes the traffic and converts it.
Opt-in, sales and thank-you pages, designed in the order people actually decide. Fast on a phone, because that's where your ad gets clicked and where a slow page loses the sale.
-
Paid traffic creative
Ads that stop the thumb and earn the click.
Variations built for testing, not one piece and a prayer. The creative is the first thing your audience sees of your brand, and it decides whether the rest gets seen at all.
-
Social media content
A feed that builds authority before the cart opens.
Art direction and a template system that keeps everything recognisable as one brand, even with different people running it during your busiest week.
-
Slides and presentations
The talk that holds the room until the offer.
Webinars, live classes and opening sessions. A well-designed slide is not decoration: it's what keeps someone watching until the moment you talk about price.
-
Art direction
Everything speaking one language, ad to slide.
It's the piece nobody asks for and the one that separates a professional project from a pile of artwork. One direction, from the first creative to the last page, so people recognise you at every step.

What they say
-
Recebemos a marca, o manual e as aplicações prontas para o time usar sozinho.
-
A página nova foi ao ar e a diferença apareceu no primeiro lançamento. Mais gente chegando até o fim e conversas melhores no WhatsApp. Não é só design bonito, é design que trabalha.
(07)Frequently asked
Before we talk.
- What does it cost?
- It depends on the size of the problem, not the number of files. A brand from scratch and a repositioning of an existing identity are different jobs. In our first conversation I understand the case and give you the number. No twelve-page proposal to say one figure.
- I found it cheaper elsewhere.
- You will. There are ten-dollar logos online, and they solve day one. The bill arrives when the brand has to carry an ad, a website and a content line, and it becomes clear you bought a file, not a system. Redoing it costs more than doing it right once.
- I already have a brand. Do I start over?
- Almost never. Most brands don't need to be born again: they need positioning and a system built around what already exists. When starting over is the right call I say so, and the project gets shorter instead of bigger.
- Do you deliver and disappear?
- No. I hand over organised files with the usage rules documented, and I stay available for questions about application. I work with launches: I know the question shows up the night before, outside business hours.

Got a project? Let's talk.
Two lines is enough. You get me, not a bot or an assistant. I'll tell you what I'd do in your case and, if it isn't a project for me, I'll say so in the first conversation. You leave with clarity, hiring me or not.
